EASY STREET Who We Are
ESP was conceived in the midst of The Great Recession on a bench in Tompkins Square Park, by its Founder – Andrew J. Epstein – and an unnamed strategist. Lending from valuable experiences working in Leasing, Asset Management, and Construction in both the Commercial and Residential sectors within institutional environments and for private owners, Andrew is a true lover of Real Estate – the bricks and mortar, architecture, design – and sustainable building. Raised in the Midwest, with schooling from the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s esteemed Real Estate Program and a Master’s from The Universita SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy – Andrew draws inspirational from that which is closest to him, the relationships he’s developed in business, his voyages around the World and epicurean passions. Andrew resides in Brooklyn, NY.
Amie Claps, a partner of ESP, is an accomplished leasing agent who primarily represents tenants in the acquisition of retail and office spaces. With over 10 years experience, Amie has handled a diverse spectrum of assignments, representing independent and established national & international brands. Based in ESP’s SoHo office, Amie’s extensive national network allows her to work with clients wherever they want to go. Currently, Amie spearheads the national rollout of leading athleisure brand YOGASMOGA.
In an industry notorious for mistrust and high risk, Amie is highly valued for her candid nature and unwavering dedication to making the right deal. She has been fortunate to develop much of her client portfolio through word of mouth and referrals. Amie’s expertise has facilitated the entrance of numerous international fashion brands into the US and Manhattan markets including: MYKITA, Henrik Vibskov, Han Kjobenhavn, and Avant Garde Diaries. Her impressive portfolio includes noteworthy deals with VINCE, 7FAM, Rebecca Taylor, Splendid, Accessorize, EVF Performance, Valley Nails, Norisol Ferrari, and MEET at Chrystie.
Having lived abroad and explored the cities and landscapes of Europe, Amie carries a deep understanding and passion for foreign culture to her practice. As a native New Yorker, raised in an entrepreneurial real estate family, her extensive relationships provide a rich resource of professionals enabling her to effectively advise and assist clients through all facets of space completion including design and construction.
Amie is a graduate of the prestigious Wheel Training Program at CB Richard Ellis. She holds a BA from Washington University in St.Louis with a double major in Comparative Arts and International Business.
